Assessment and Evaluation

Assessment Plan

An annual assessment plan is imperative to continual improvement of program services and ultimately meeting your grant objectives at the highest level possible. Working with us, your assessment plan will include:

yearly goals tied to meeting grant objectives
identifying types of outcomes tied to each goal (operational and learning outcomes)
establishing baseline data
a variety of assessment tools: case studies, data collection, focus groups, interviews, observations, pre/post tests, research, surveys
an action plan for implementing the assessment plan
an action plan for utilizing results

Evaluation Section of Grant Proposal

Getting your grant proposal's evaluation section implemented is an important piece of being in compliance with your approved grant document. We will summarize the current status and steps towards completion, establish timelines, identify and organize data needs, develop evaluation tools, plan of action for tasks, and recommendations for next steps to continue effective evaluation.

Compliance Review

Our compliance review is designed to take a detailed look into your program's practices to confirm it is meeting federal guidelines.

The review not only investigates compliance with federal regs, it includes confirming program practices align with your grant document, and recommendation of best practices.

Our goal is for you to feel confident about your program's documentation and organization which supports the TRIO staff to provide the highest level of services to their participants.

There are three components of the compliance review:

Pre-Visit Packet and virtual meeting(s),
On Campus Visit, and
Final Report and virtual meeting(s).

Grant Writing and Editing

There are a variety of levels of grant writing and editing services offered to meet your specific needs.

Editing

institution/agency can complete entire grant document, and we can edit before submission, or
numerous edits can be done at a variety of points during the writing process

Grant Writing

In collaboration with the institution/agency, we can:

write your entire grant document, or
write specific sections

Guidance Through the Process

an hourly rate and retainer fee for "on call" services are available

Participant Programming

We offer numerous program options appropriate for TRIO participants.

New Program Start Up

Congratulations on your new grant award! Let us help you get off to a great start.

We can provide you the guidance needed to begin serving your students as soon as possible with efficient processes in place. Our New Program Start Up component can assist with a variety of areas including:

job descriptions, recruiting, and preparing to hire;
putting systems into place;
new employee on-boarding and handbook;
recruiting new participants;

student files/records - hard copy and online;
